Ne-Yo took a break from his busy promotion schedule last evening to contribute to a good cause. The 2012 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute aired live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and the entertainer hit the stage to commemorate the event.

Of course, Ne-Yo performed his own song ‘Heroes’ at the CNN Heroes show and gave the crowd a welcome break from his generic Dance music. It’s so easy to forget that behind the synths and bass, there is actually a talented singer. Watch Ne-Yo prove it below:
