Yesterday would have been Michael Jackson’s 54th birthday and a pair of music’s brightest young stars were excited to honor his memory in their own unique ways. In collaboration with Pepsi and Billboard, Melanie Fiona and Ne-Yo paid tribute to the King of Pop at the Summer Beats concert.
Fiona rocked the Summer Beats with renditions of her his ’4 AM’, ‘Wrong Side of a Love Song’ and ‘It Kills Me’. Of course, she had to cover one of Jackson’s classics so she opted for ‘Dirty Diana’ whereas Ne-Yo chose to perform ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ as well as a medley of other tunes as part of his extensive set.
