Did you know that Janet Jackson’s ‘Rhythm Nation 1814′ was the 1st album to spawn 7 consecutive top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100?

All 7 of the 1989 LP’s singles entered the top 5 of the tally - ‘Miss You Much’, ‘Rhythm Nation’, ‘Escapade’, ‘Alright’, ‘Come Back To Me’, ‘Black Cat’ and ‘Love Will Never Do (Without You)’. Of those tracks, 4 went to #1.
