Beyonce Selects New Single ‘Countdown’ For October Release

Beyonce’s pregnancy might affect her ability to deliver her exciting onstage dance routines but it won’t prevent her from promoting her ’4′ album on radio. In fact, following the release of ‘Party (Ft. Andre 3000)’ to the Urban format last month, it has just been announced that ‘Countdown’ will officially hit the airwaves in October.
‘Countdown’ will be serviced to Top 40 and Rhythmic radio on October 4th. Beyonce, who was recently called “boring” by media mogul Simon Cowell, reportedly filmed the accompanying video for the song during the same period in which she shot the visuals for ‘Party’ and ’1+1′.
Of course, this track is a solid selection for US Pop and Rhythmic radio. Truly, many of Beyonce’s fans would have opted for ‘Countdown’ to be the lead single from ’4′ instead of the misleading ‘Run The World (Girls)’, which did not exemplify the direction of the project.
However, although ‘Countdown’ also has the potential to be a breakout hit in the UK and Australia, there is no doubt that ‘End of Time’ would be a more formidable international release. Hopefully, Beyonce and her team have noted the airplay that it has already received. The record may have loss its novelty but there is still time for it to become a hit.

What does Simon’s delusional comments have to do with Countdown? And End of Time should be released. idk what they’re thinking.
I hope it does well, but Simon released a statement saying that he didn’t say that at all. He said:
(those are words made up by tabloids) . he said Gaga and Beyonce are two of the most interesting/entertaining artist music has seen in the last 20 years.
‘End of Time’ would’ve been a better single although i countdown is nice. Seh saw that End of Tim video her fans did for her at Target and still didn’t get the hint…smh

I think these artist today are truly on something. End of Time should have been the next single…it SHOULD have been the first, but, whatever.smh
I would have never guessed that was a picture of Beyonce. Even though she is pregnant she could still promote the album if she wanted too. Christina Aguilera was pregnant and still touring. I do like end of time much better than countdown

Too late, this project is a utter failure, should just call it a day, and start on a new one.
