Did you know that Keri Hilson co-wrote several songs on Britney Spears’ ‘Blackout’ album including the lead single, ‘Gimme More’?
Hilson penned the tracks ‘Gimme More’, ‘Break the Ice’, ‘Perfect Lover‘ and ‘Outta This World’. Hilson gained notoriety as one of the primary songwriters on the ill-fated ‘Blackout’ project and it was widely considered as a launching pad for her own recording career.

“ill-fated”
Isn’t Blackout considered to be a fan fave?
Furthermore, that was the cd that she started really infusing hip hop and r&b elements into her music? Hence her working with Danja, Keri Hilson and Pharrell.
@Late Blackout is indeed a fan favorite, however, it underperformed compared to Britbey’s earlier releases. It was also released during the year of her much publicised breakdown that overshadowed it.
Yass for Keri tho. Those songs are great!
@X,
You are right. However, I think that if that cd had come out a year later, she would have been able to properly promote that cd and it would have been a smash. She had the right producers and writers on that cd for it to be a hit
That was her best album. Thanks Keri/Danja and pharrell! You bought the best out of her.
Yep, I knew that. Blackout was some of her best/realest work. Loved every track!
she’s a good songwriter, i love keri hilson
