New Video: Nicole Scherzinger – ‘Try With Me’

Nicole Scherzinger stripped away her usually glamourous appeal for her honest and natural ‘Try With Me’ video. The song, which will be available on October 30th in the UK, is the lead single from the repackaged edition of her ‘Killer Love’ album.

The ‘Kill Love’ rerelease will be available on November 14th. However, the US version of the LP has been delayed until December 6th.

Although this is definitely a solid track with all the qualities of a hit, there is not doubt that the first verse is the most brilliant aspect of the ‘Try With Me’. Scherzinger is an excellent vocalist and her voice sounds best when it isn’t overwhelmed by heavy studio production.

I am quite eager to hear Scherzinger perform a piano-driven ballad similar to the opening of this record. Indeed, while she is eager to score a hit, artists like Adele have proven that the best way to the top is not to match current trends. Rather, sometimes it is best to be aberrant.

   Why can’t she find better music? Such a great vocalist and performers and ever track seems to be just OK. She needs to have a writing camp for her next album.

   Betta music? This is in an Era where “We Found Love” can top charts…Please! Right There would’ve been a hit if it didn’t sound so much like a Rihanna track or if Rihanna would’ve sang it herself. Wet is a good track but the public love that recycled pop music. Don’t Hold Your Breath is also a good track but again the public is under the spell of microwaved pop music with no lyrical content. Truth is I don’t think many people in the U.S. is really checking for Nicole as a soloist. She’s been throwing singles at us since 200? Remember “Baby Love” and “Whatever U Like feat T.I” and it just wasn’t received well. Maybe she should just do a Kelis and focus on where her music is well received—> The U.K. ..her vocals are amazing but unfortunately the music buyers don’t seem to care about amazing vocals (i.e Rihanna)….This is where music is at and its truly sad.

   I agree with Britt. Also where auto tune vocalists chris brown can have a world tour after bashing his goat throat singing ex in her extended forhead. Nicole in order to get a hit you should copy someones beat like beyonce and kelly rowland. See you at the top
