Did you know that Prince is the real name of the legendary artist Prince and it is not a stage alias?
The icon was born on June 7th 1958 as Prince Rogers Nelson. However, during his legal battle with Warner Bros. in 1993, Prince adopted the unpronounceable Love Symbol so that he could free himself from trademark claims and assert more control over his career.
