Leona Lewis’ ‘Glassheart’ Delayed Until November

After Leona Lewis released a snippet of a new song, entitled ‘LoveBirds’, she gave her fans renewed hope that her ‘Glassheart’ album was finally ready to hit stores. However, with yet another devastating blow, the record has been delayed yet again and won’t hit stores until November.
‘Glasshear’ will be released in the UK on November 26th. The album’s due date had previously been shifted from November 28th until March 26th following Lewis’ expressed her desire to record new material. Yet, without any new singles issued to radio or announced promotional plans, the project has been stalled until the fall.

At this stage, there is nothing left to be said about Lewis’ ‘Glassheart’. The project is clearly in a state of confusion and her team has probably opted for such a long extension so that it could be completely revamped, hopefully with new material and a clear marketing strategy.
It’s truly a shame that an artist as talented as Lewis has to face these struggles but she could definitely learn from them. In fact, if she channels her frustrations into a song then she could finally have the creative breakthrough on which we’ve been waiting and show some real emotion!

Leona had an album we were all waiting for..seems like her record company are ruining her..cannot believe this…gutted…if all those amazing songwriters wrote for her what is so wrong with the songs she has recorded…sooner she leaves syco the better
this is DEVASTATING. seriously, WOW. she better be ready to take the heat, her fans are hardcore, and they are PISSED.
I knew that the album would be pushed back! I bet this is because of the disenchanted response of the mid-tempo pop song “Collide.” I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole look of the album is re-packed. Hopefully while she uses this time to reconstruct the album, a single is ushered to the public no later than mid summer: late June, mid July, NO LATER THAN EARLY AUGUST. Get it together, Leona!
Her team are utterly clueless, don’t know their left from their right. Very discouraging, her career seems to be all over the place lately not to mention the never-ending delays.
What is the point of recording all this ‘Good’ music if it is never brought to light?!

Also, b/c it needs to be said, if she had an identity and was in charge of her music and they weren’t handing her songs, she wouldn’t have this problem. Musically, she’s only as good as whoevers writing for her and want her “people” have her doing.
Also, who the fuck pushes an album a year! Even from now, setting a specific November date. Really?
She should say good bye to her career. She will be fighting with JLS and Olly Murs in November and flop. She is a boring girl who does not know what direction she is going . Whatever she brings out will flop anyway. Who cares about her anymore apart from some crazy fans in UK. We have amazing Emeli Sande, Annoying Jessie J and Lady Gaga new album to look forward to.Forget Leona. She is in our distant memory. Elephant Alexandra Burke will start dominating soon.
It’s really hard to keep my confidence with this album. What are they so afraid of? It failing? Well delaying it certainly won’t help her at all.
She really needs to leave RCA and SYCO. One of the best vocalists of our time and she’s being completely fucked over due to really shitty management. When they do finally release the album she’ll have to be promoted like a new artist.
And I’m guessing they’ll completely scrap the entire album and have her go in and record more safe, Adele-like songs because they actually believe that just because it worked for Adele it’ll work for anyone.

I am a Die-Hard Leona Lewis fan and have been since the very beginning. But this kind of takes the piss Majorly. At least get a single out. It hasn’t been confirmed by Leona herself so there is still hope. Even though it probably isn’t her fault. Yes Leona will get alot of stick for this, theres a difference when you say you are taking your time to make a timeless album but when its been delayed and delayed people stop bothering

This is bloody ridiculous, i expect a free EP/Mixtape to be release between now and summer with at least 8 songs on it. This whole project is just one big tragedy.
Better yet, her record company should release this album now, with very little promo (2/3 singles) and release what ever their planning in november as a separate LP.
Leona is just another pretty girl with a nice voice. There’s a million other females with those qualities. Leona does not have a personality or any musical direction.

Personally… I wonder could it be a smart move, and I think her team is waiting for the current sound of the industry to change… again… ….Hmmmmmmm, or the whole album is changing direction, which could in the long run be a good thing, rushing stuff for release rarely proves fruitful..
I have been there for Leona since she won in 2006 and I have been a true-fan for 6 years. I have bought the albums, watched the videos and I have been through waiting for something that feels like it is never gunna happen. We had to wait 2 years for Glassheart originally, and now 3. The world will forget about Leona, and it is such a shame cos she is one of the best artists, in my opinion, that this world has ever seen. But in 6 years we have received 2 albums and 1 EP (which was full of covers) I am done waiting for her to prove everyone else wrong, I am done defending her to everyone , I am done following people on twitter that will give me a scrap of information, I am done getting excited for things that just aren’t coming. My stomach and heart is aching while I admit this to myself.But I am so over Leona Lewis.
What a shame. She has no clear musical direction. I can tell by the songs that I’ve heard. At this point, she should have a clear idea of what she wants to do. I know that it’s not as easy as it sounds but this is a long awaited album and she’s had enough time to figure it out. I wish her well and all but she won’t do well if she keeps derailing her train. She has 10 months or so to get herself together. If she can’t do it in that amount of time, then she might as well not do it at all. The least she could do is release an ep of older unreleased tracks or something so that her fans have something to hold on to.

Mariah Carey is a diva a.k.a a female version of a hustler. Tommy Mottola could have ruined her career but she came out bigger than ever. J-Lo left Diddy and she made a household name of herself. Rihanna knows her voice ain’t the business but she also knows she has mesmerizing looks and she bets everything on that, and she sells!
Leona, it’s time to grow up and to defend your career. You won the X factor, your first album was a multi platinum hit. In my humble opinion, the blame is on you. Wake the f_ck up!

It should be known that more than likely there is no concrete release date yet. November was probably chosen as the latest possible date to keep pre-orders coming in and that it will probably be released in the early summer if she’s done recording.
Leona announced today that she will release the album when she is done, and she’s now putting the finishing touches on it so it should actually be soon, not November. I am also predicting a new single fairly quickly too. 2012 is the year of Leona Lewis
