Leona Lewis is officially back on the scene with her stunning vocals and hand-waving antics that we all love. For her latest appearance, the singer ventured to the Amberliegh Talent Showcase where she performed ‘Come Alive’ from her long awaited ‘Glassheart’ album (due October 15th).
Lewis first debuted the Electro-styled ‘Come Alive’ at BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend in June but she changed the arrangement for the intimate Amberliegh setting. Also on her setlist were covers of Bruno Mars’ ‘Grenade’ and OneRepublic’s ‘Apologize’.
Earlier this week, Lewis released a new song, ‘Trouble (Ft. Childish Gambino)’. The track is the latest single from ‘Glassheart’ and will arrive on UK iTunes on October 7th. Watch Lewis perform at Amberliegh below:
‘Come Alive’
‘Grenade’
‘Apologize’
I always feel like her microphones are crap at capturing her voice when she sings at the lower octaves.
The vocals on the second half of Come Alive >>>> She needs a televised performance of that track. That song and Trouble should sort her out a decent UK launch. I’m pretty sure Simone Cowell will secure her a performance on X-Factor to coincide with the release.
Hopefully she has a 2012 release in the US as well. Maybe december or something.
