Kelly Clarkson, Melanie Fiona & Others Join 2012 Vh1 Divas Show

When the 2012 Vh1 Divas: Diva Dance Party show was first announced, supporters of the once respected franchise were disgusted by the initial list of performers. However, a glimmer of hope shined through the nonsense today when Kelly Clarkson and Melanie Fiona were added to the lineup.

Clarkson and Fiona will join Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks at the Vh1 Divas ceremony, which will air live on December 16th at 9pm ET. Also expected to appear as a guest act is Pitbull with his abnormally tight pants and signature black shades.

This year’s Vh1 Divas will honor the legacy of Dance music, and pay homage to past performers Whitney Houston and Donna Summer, who passed away during the last year. Other entertainers will be announced during the coming weeks.

   Love the addition of Kelly & Melanie! These are 2 sanging heffas! But I still ain’t watching! With the exception of these 2 & Kelly R, they should’ve listened to the ppl! Cuz they’re so many other singers out there. I haven’t watched this shit since 1999 when aunt nippy & Mary did Aretha Franklin’s “ain’t no way.”

   The show has gone down hill, there are no other artist invited. VH1 show case the same artist.

   I am glad that they add Kelly Clarkson, but Melanie Fiona
   is a powerful singer, but she is a boring entertainer.
   The only problem that I had with the original list
   was Miley and Demi. I was going to watch for KR
   and KC any way.
