Keyshia Cole’s new ‘Woman to Woman’ album will provide women with an outlet to vent their frustrations regarding the struggles they face in their lives. As such, the title track of the set reflects one of the most pressing matters a woman can face – a cheating man – and features none other than Ashanti.
Meeting in an old fashioned sit down, Cole and Ashanti meet to discuss their future of their relationship with the same man, whom they both love. Yes, this is the adult version of Brandy and Monica’s ‘The Boy is Mine’. Listen to ‘Woman to Woman’ below:
Once again, Cole has scored another hit! ‘Woman to Woman’ is gritty and powerful, and the lyrics are cleverly written to highlight both characters’ perspectives of the situation. In fact, I was completely engrossed in the story and the only flaw in the song is that it end too abruptly!
It looks as though Cole may very well land the best R&B album of 2012 with this song as the top track. If only Brandy and Monica had the same street mentality that Cole has then ‘It All Belongs to Me’ wouldn’t have been such a lacklustre duet.

Really enjoyed listening to this. Don’t really like that genre of music. Never was a fan of Keyshia. Disliked a lot of the recent material Ashanti has put out. That said, deffo finished too quick. Both ladies sounded amazing. The lyrics were so heartfelt. I thought I was going through the same thing. Hope they come hard with a music video. Well done Keysh! Very excited for you
The way this review was written i was expecting amazing but I just got meh…
kinda reminds me of a female version of usher & rkelly’s same girl… sounds good, the only problem is that it lacks a hook.
Keyshia is surely getting my coins.
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song is fire, and another hit for Keyshia Cole! I can’t wait to buy her album.
yep, nd love the street swag
I am impressed with Keyshia. I hope she does well.

I WAS EXPECTING IT TO SOUND A LIL DIFFERENT, BUT ITS OK…NOT ALL THAT…JUST OK…

I agree wholeheartedly!I absolutely love this song. Both ladies sounded great and this is the best song I’ve heard from Ashanti in the longest while and Lord knows how much I used to love her!It ended too suddenly but it’s a beautiful track!
Amen!!!!!
Yassssss Keyshia!! What are you trying to do to me girl?!? She is doing the doggone thang! Yes ma’am!!!!
This reminds of Whitney and Deborah Cox “Same Script Different Cast”.
YES! Never bought a Keyshia album before but I think I’m definately getting this one!
Everything I’ve heard so far has been brilliant; Enough of No Love, Trust and Believe and Woman to Woman
I like it and cant wait to listen to the album. I wish she would have used Letoya Lucket… dont like Ashanti’s voice.
Ashanti killed the feature. I hate that she didn’t have the chance to.shine. Ms. Cole definitely did her thing!!! I need a live performance ASAP
song is okay, brandy and monica’s it all belongs to me sounds better tbh
oh Trent you gave Keyshia wayyyyy toooo much best r&b album of 2012? lol now the single is cute but it’s not groundbreaking at all.
I can’t even deal best R&B song of the year melanie fiona jut got knocked out. I love it everything about, after this i’m pre ordering this album
not bad at all! Unlikely showing from both.
I’m definitely buying Keyshia’s album on the 19th. It’s nice to hear Ashanti’s voice again.
The write up on this song is definitely better than the actual song itself. This review is obviously written from a stans perspective. I waited the entire song for the grit and power but didn’t find it. Keyshia sounds the same on every song and this collab is rather boring and definitely nothing to write home about
This is garbage. Girl bye. She stay wanting to run up in some womans face to spark a confrontation. Keyshia is repping for all the women to take a step back. How about something inspiring instead of wanting to always beat a chick down. Girl grow up and find a voice
Don’t know why but I was expecting much more than this.
Eh. It was okay. I guess I’ve heard too many woman-to-woman-that’s-my-man songs to be impressed with this one.
all this song needs is a video
Ashanti sounds great, haven’t heard her voice in a while. The song needs a good hook, but it sounds nice. Something to sit back and chill. It all Belongs to me was not a huge duet, but it did have a catchy hook and all the ingredients for a top 40 hit. If it had released in early 2000 it would be a hit.
