When T-Boz’s named first appeared on the track list of Little Mix’s ‘DNA’ debut album, excitement sparked for the return of the iconic TLC member. However, with the group’s new song, ‘Red Planet’, finally on the airwaves, the final result is quite anticlimactic.

T-Boz has one of the most unique tones and singing styles in the music industry but you won’t come to that conclusion by listening to ‘Red Planet’. Although the song is a great record, it is far too busy to allow T-Boz to enjoy the spotlight and she gets completely lost in the mix (no pun intended). Still, Little Mix has yet to disappoint with their other releases and this minor misstep shouldn’t weaken the sales of ‘DNA’.

i’m feeling this. i am glad these girls did not submit to sub-par generic pop music. they are pretty forward-thinking with all of the songs i have heard so far. I hope they get a release onto the US market!
