New Song: Electric Giant Beatz – ‘On The Run (Ft. Michelle Williams)’

Michelle Williams teamed with Europe’s Electric Giant Beatz for her return to the music scene on a new song entitled ‘On The Run’. The Destiny’s Child alum shot the accompanying video for the tune earlier this year in Ibiza and it is scheduled to debut later this year.

It is so refreshing to hear a real vocalist singing over a Dance/Pop beat and elevating the production to another level without relying on the studio mechanics to help her sound tolerable. Williams is an enormously talented singer and this tune demonstrated her versatility. If there is a way to swap Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ with ‘On The Run’ atop the charts then please let us know.

   Michelle doesn’t get enough blogtime, airplay or press coverage but I’m glad I could do my little bit as a stan and get her this post.

   I’m really excited about this song. EGB have stated there is a major promo campaign on the way and Michelle tweeted that she’s coming over on Saturday to start promo!!

   She may just score her first proper, international hit. “We Break the Dawn” should have been her break out though :\

   It’s not playing!! I could only find the (Soul Seekerz Club Mix), is this the same version? If so, I LOVE IT! I remember her tweeting this past summer, “Just finished recording a club record in Ibiza”

   The Soul Seekerz Club Mix is one of the official remixes but no it’s not the single version that’ll be in the video. I’m assuming the label got the song taken down…annoying but it’s nice to know they’re keeping things organised.
