Michelle, who used last evening’s season premiere of the show to release a video for a new song called “I Just Wanna”.
“Cause I just wanna fuck and not fall in love I’m over all the pain that love can bring, tonight I want sex that doesn’t mean a thing,” Michelle sings in the accidental feminist R&B anthem that entails surprisingly impressive vocals. Listen to “I Just Wanna” below:
There is no denying that Michelle has an amazing voice but there are two factors hampering her success. Firstly, she is simply an on-key version of Keyshia Cole. Their styling, music and even looks are remarkably similar, and since Cole debuted first, it may be hard for people to accept Michelle has anything more than just a clone.
Secondly, Michelle has a horrible reputation because her temper. She is constantly feuding with other artists and that has cost her several key relationships in the industry. Yet, if there is supposedly hope for Azealia Banks then why not Michelle?
