JoJo remained on schedule by releasing her new single, ‘Disaster’, today. The song is the first track to be issued from her upcoming ‘Jumping Trains’ LP, which has been earmarked for an October debut.
Listen to ‘Disaster’ below:
If JoJo was aiming for a Top 40 radio hit then she definitely found it as this record has all the traits of a mainstream airplay winner. Yet, what is most endearing about this song is the fact that she didn’t take the obvious route of attaching herself the Dance/Pop bandwagon in an effort to reposition herself near the top of the charts.
JoJo has what it takes to be a force in the industry similar to a young Kelly Clarkson or Christina Aguilera. She definitely has the voice and now it seems that she finally crafted the right material. I’m ready for ‘Jumping Trains’!
