Did you know that before the release of her ‘Faith’ debut album in 1995, Faith Evans wrote and sang background vocals for Mary J. Blige?
Evans co-wrote songs such ‘Everyday it Rains’ for Blige as well as performed background vocals on her peer’s ‘My Life’ album in 1994. Blige later collaborated with Evans on the ‘Faith’ album on the track ‘Love Don’t Live Here Anymore’.

Faith Evans did her thing on My Life. I am holding out hopes that she’ll do background vocals again on MJB’s new album. *crosses fingers*
I heard they don’t like each other anymore.
They are cool, she deserved to have the type of success that Mary has had, although she is successful.
