Chris Brown has released yet another new video this morning. ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ was directed by Colin Tilley and is the latest offering from Brown’s upcoming ‘Fortune’ project, which is due to impact stores on July 3rd.
Last week, Brown performed ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ for the first time on ‘The Today Show’. Unfortunately, he allowed his backtrack to handle all of the somewhat difficult segments and he simply mimed the tune.
Watch Brown’s ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ video below:
‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ is definitely the best video that Brown has released to support ‘Fortune’, thus far. The concept was clever, despite being almost too literal, and the graphics were incredible. All he needs to do now is learn how to sing the song live and he’d be set.

He did not mime the song, I thought he did great! Anyway I love the video, It’s my favorite one so far for this album.
Denial
Oh Trent c’mon although it was not his best he did no mime that song. Give him some credit.
On another note i can’t with Chris and all these songs and videos he’s been releasing. It’s over saturation.
Damn if Breezy does, Damn if he doesn’t, Trent I love you and I understand your frustration with Breezy but he did the best he could. Anyway I loved his performance and cant wait to see what he’s up to today on 106. Anyway I do love this vid.
Great video
1 word = mind control. Do your researches. I have lost all respect for that “man”
@MsAnnie: Shut the hell up you dumb bitch! Maybe your weak minded ass is just too easily influenced! Other people who have a fully functioning brains can appreciate ART without always looking for some illuminati reference! If you’ve lost all respect for him then stop looking up his videos! You delusional bitch!
Anywho, love the video! Dope concept & I love the concept. It’s nice to see him break away from the big over the top dance video and give a great concept video. I still like the original version of the song better but the video slayed!
Luv ya Breezy! Keep doing ya thing!
Oh @ Trent: Glad you like the video but I would have to disagree! ‘TUTM’ is the best video he has released so far from this era but ‘DWMU’ is a very close second! ; )
In Love with this man. my sweet dream
anyways Trent needs to stfu because chris did the damn thing.
Bravo chris brown le clip est parfait, je n’attend que ton album avec patience.
The autotune is terrible.
reworked uptempo version of DJ Shah don’t wake me up similiar lyrics and video
Your constant shade at Chris Brown is unnecessary and uncalled for. He actually sang the song on The Today Show. I never see you complain when others have a backing track. Trent seek help. This blog is not that big for you to start getting reckless with the fanbases that helped support you.
this is a mute button video because it’s actually really good but this is just a vile song vile! i’m so disappointed!
[...] New Video: Chris Brown – ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ [...]
Great video!!!… as always…the young man is a visual artist. The song is growing on me… His performance was very good on the Today show. It amazes me how people complain about him not sing live but when he sings live you complaining its not enough. Truly a legend in the making when everyone wants a piece of you. He’s been in the game 6+ years at least he willing to take chances and listen to the advice of what the people want cuz he could have easily lip synch throughout the entire Today Show. Some people have waaaay too much time on their hand analyzing every step, every move and how he does this or he doesn’t. Sit back breathe and enjoy the video and that goes for his performance.
NO. “Turn Up the Music” was his best music video so far. I dont like “sweet love” and “dont wake me up” song and video Chris need to chill with that damn autotune.
Lol @ Va stand up….i feel the same no matter what some shit head is always gonna write shit about chris…..Don’t wake me up just love it.
