During the last year, J. Cole has made quite a name for himself as one of the brightest young talents in Hip-Hop music and he maintains that title today with a new song entitled ‘The Cure’. Sampling Jay-Z, Kanye West and Beyonce’s ‘Lift Off’, the track was crafted during J. Cole’s recent studio sessions.
J. Cole has been working on the followup to his debut album, ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’, for quite some time. He is in no rush, though, because that record is still selling well in the US and recently topped 621K copies in sales since September 2011.

While it is highly unlikely that ‘The Cure’ will appear on J. Cole’s new album, the song serves the purpose of reminding people of his talent as lyricist and a clever beat-sampler. Really, this could have gone horribly wrong given the name on the ‘Lift Off’ bill but he pulled it off very well.
