Rebecca Ferguson is often accused of being more boring during her live shows than even Leona Lewis. However, during her recent visit to ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, the Soul singer let loose and proved that there is some sass hidden behind those innocent eyes.

Belting ‘Run Free’ from her ‘Heaven’ debut album, Ferguson wowed the late nigh audience with her voice and just an extra touch of stage presence. She even ended her set with a signature diva pose!    Just thought I’d let you know that Rebecca has never lip-synched a number in her life. Maybe you are not used to it but Rebecca’s whole “thing” is about being real, to herself and to all of us. True singers don’t charge around the set attracting attention to their private parts: they sing. What is true is that Rebecca is shining through her shyness, (see her first audition for X Factor UK), and bringing us into her enjoyment of her music. That progression is perfect.
