Lady GaGa finally went too far. After a performance at the Sydney Town Hall in Australia on Wednesday, the eccentric entertainer was targeted by patrons who came armed with a barrage of eggs.
GaGa enraged audience members when she hit the stage in a wheelchair during a performance of ‘You & I’ because she was unable to walk in her mermaid costume. Luckily for GaGa, none of the egg missiles hit her and only members of her entourage were left covered in residue from the attack.
Jesse Billauer, the founder of the quadriplegic advocacy group Life Rolls On, had this to say about the event:
“I invite [Gaga] to learn more about the 5.6 million Americans who live with paralysis. They, like me, unfortunately, don’t use a wheelchair for shock value.”

Maybe this is a hint that people are ready for GaGa to just get on stage and sing without all the unnecessary antics. ‘Born This Way’ isn’t selling any faster so clearly those costumes aren’t helping her cause. Just a thought.
