Naked girls, jewelry and fancy cars – these are the facets of music viisuals crafted by men to overcompensate for perceived shortcomings in their masculinities. Omarion provides with an ideal example of that fact with his new video for ‘Let’s Talk’.
Co-starring Rick Ross, ‘Let’s Talk’ features Omarion doing his best to make us believe that he is truly a “boss”. Unfortunately, his antics amount to nothing more than a cry for help. Watch the clip below and see for yourself:
Dear Omarion,
You are not this person. You are blessed with the ability to sing and dance so why are you wasting your talents by pretending to be yet another hypermasculine stereotype? Are you so eager to be accepted that you will chase short run success instead of longevity by creating real art?
Please do better than this Omarion. Your idol, Michael Jackson, was great because he was himself; he embraced glitter instead of a squad of false symbols of manhood. Besides, no matter how hard you try, we don’t believe you.
Sincerely,
Somebody who won’t buy your next album,
Trini Trent

It really PISSES me off when artists feel the need to say the word ‘niggas’ (Annoys me more with singers than rappers.) Omarion gave us Ice Box now he give us this… I’m DONE
I’ve been done with him… so unfortunate black men in the industry have to be hypermasculine so they don’t get pegged as “gay” or whatever. Such a pity… no one will buy his next album.
“You are blessed with the ability to sing…”
Not so much. Omarion is not a singer. By any definition.
the song is VVVVVVV good! Dont lie but the vid! nice breasts!
People wil think he’s gay anyway, so, he should cut the shit.
All the money spent on hiring those “models” should have been put into a better concept and production values.
*SNORE*
This song is a hit…no bullshit…that BIG sample did it for me..he delivered…I believe u all are just hating to be hating…but I know music and I know what resonates with people AND THIS IS IT! Omarion got one!
He’s trying wayy to damn hard!

No one is “hating”. I’ve never been a fan of his but his earlier records that he did we in the RIGHT direction when it came to him as an artist. Now he’s just trying to put out that bad boy image that everybody else is doing bandwagon. He has put out decent music but this right here IS just………… He needs to re-connect his audience not this garbage ass rap music. Him signing with Ross isn’t going to get him that far. But wish him luck.
Lol as much as I diss “Maybach O” i forgot what a descent voice he has. I liked the biggie and salt and peppa samples but the video….. try again, next time with less naked women and random dancing
He can do so much better. I refuse to believe that this is his desired direction.
Omarion should disappear right along with Marques Houston. I just can’t take him seriously; he’s so corny now.
So everyone is talking about the video which i agree is bad but those bathing suits/tape stuff were killaaahhh but no one says anything about the song?! I really like it and i WISH that Rozay wasnt on it -_-
