Vandross and Jackson recorded ‘The Best Things In Life Are Free’ for the ‘Mo’ Money’ soundtrack in 1992. The song was an unexpected hit and peaked at#10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the Official UK Singles Chart.
‘The Best Things In Life Are Free’ was even nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals field in 1993. However, the title was won by Boyz II Men’s ‘End of the Road’.
