Did you know that Mariah Carey co-wrote Faith Hill’s most memorable Christmas hit, ‘Where Are You, At Christmas’?
‘Christmas, Why Can’t I Find You?’ was originally written by James Horner and Will Jennings for the film ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ in 2000. However, when Carey became involved in the project, she rewrote the tune as ‘Where Are You, At Christmas’ and even recorded it to appear on the movie’s accompanying soundtrack.
Unfortunately, Carey’s bitter divorce from then Sony Music Entertainment boss Tommy Mottola led to several legal disputes, which prevented the release of her version of the track. So, it was then performed by Hill, who sang it in a strikingly similar fashion to the diva.
