Since the release of his duet with Aaliyah, ‘Enough Said’, rumours have swirled concerning the level of Drake’s involvement in the later singer’s first posthumous album. So, to set the record straight, Drake spoke with MuchMusic to fully explain his role in the project.
Shortly after singing with Aaliyah via his spirit board on ‘Enough Said’, he ventured to the 2012 OVO Fest to perform hits of his own. However, the rapper wasn’t completely by himself as he thrilled the Toronto crowd, thanks to guests Nicki Minaj and The Weeknd.
It is no secret that Drake is obsessed with Aaliyah but he has taken things a step further by releasing a new song, ‘Enough Said’, which features the vocals of the late singer. The track was produced on Noah ’40′ Shebib and will reportedly appear on a new Aaliyah album helmed by Drake himself.
Clearly, Drake was the child who was left behind. If you don’t believe that then his statements in a recent interview with The Jewish Chronicle should change your mind almost instantly.
