Cassie encountered severe criticism earlier this month when her new song, ‘Radio (Ft. Fabolous)‘, hit the airwaves. However, Diddy’s special friend has not given up. Instead, she has accepted the comments of her naysayers and hired a vocal coach to help her with her new album.
The record will be preceded by the Dance-inspired lead single ‘King of Hearts’ and will be released in early 2012. See what Cassie had to say about the project on BET’s ’106 & Park’ below:
Unlike Rihanna, who actually has a voice that can be developed with the right guidance, Cassie hardly has any vocal range or discernable potential. In fact, her voice could easily serve as a substitute for dial tone; a useful trick for her to use if she was ever trying to avoid Diddy’s phone calls.
Still, there is absolutely no harm in Cassie making an effort to improve her craft. Besides, there is no place she can go but up.

As long as she is signed to Bad Boy that album will get pushed back several times. looking at the BB history, the team has a hard time managing artist past the first album…hell in some cases the first single.
Hiring Jesus wouldn’t make a diffence .
hahahaahahh they gon kill you for this one!!!
Gotta respect her hustle. And I can’t believe you actually gave Rihanna a lil mini compliment! Personally I think Cassie and Rihanna both sound like sick robots but if people wanna buy their music then more power to them for trying to improve.
Oh shit im liking this layout Trent lol
Cassie girl smh………………………..atleast she’s trying tho
that’s a great idea. even the best singers eg. Celine Dione hve vocal coaches.
Cassie should hook Rihanna up. I’m praying he voice improves.
I honestly don’t even understand why people are still gassing her up as if she has anyone’s talent and potential. Diddy has let numerous acts go who have don’t way better than she had (i.e Danity Kane, Day26 just to name a few) and yet she continuously flops around the charts like a fish out of water and still gets another chance? WHEN WILL THE MADNESS STOP!?

THAT WHOLE PARAGRAPH JUST MADE MY DIE IN MY CHAIR AT WORK! lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Cassie is great and just because u dont like her it means nothing. She’s the one ur talking about behind a screen, not the contrary so
The only album she has put out so far debuted at #4 and has sold over 100k copies in 1st week, ID like to see any of u top that.

DEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Oh.
@Tehara. You’re so wrong for saying that… DEAD!
Stop trying Cassie. Not even Diddy cares about you anymore… bye.

[...] and Onika’s version is supremely better. She’s apparently been in the studio and hired a vocal coach (God, is that you?) for that album she’s been working on forever, “Electro Love.” [...]
