JoJo Discusses Direction Of ‘Jumping Trains’

Written by Trent | Filed under Jojo

JoJo has delayed the release of her ‘Jumping Trains’ album until early 2012 but she is using the extra time to craft the best possible material. The singer sat down with Rap-Up TV to discuss the project and revealed that her R&B, Pop and Rock influences – as heard on the ‘Disaster’ lead single – will be demonstrated throughout the record.

JoJo also named several contributors and songs included on the ‘Jumping Trains’, including ‘Elsewhere’, which she described as a powerful ballad supported by live instrumentation. Watch her interview below:

It’s endearing to see that JoJo is so focused on her craft and ensuring that she delivers her best work. She had to to endure severe criticism for the numerous delays of this project and although people’s confidence in her ability to release the record has waned, JoJo is still motivated to succeed.
