Nicole Scherzinger Mocks Britney Spears

Nicole Scherzinger is a woman of many talents but on last evening’s episode of ‘Conan’ she demonstrated a special skill. While promoting ‘The X Factor (US)’, which premieres on Fox tomorrow at 8pm ET, the singer performed an uncanny Britney Spears impersonation.

However, although Scherzinger maintained that she respects Spears, she sarcastically made fun of her Pop counterpart’s limited vocal range several times before doing her rendition of ‘Oops…I Did It Again’. Watch the footage below:

It was blatantly obvious that Scherzinger’s comments were malicious. However, regardless of how accurate they may have been, that behaviour definitely won’t do her any favours.

Scherzinger’s reputation is already marred by several reports concerning her unfair treatment of the other Pussycat Dolls and taunting a more successful Pop act, especially in the US where she has yet to make an impact, will only stall her career plans. On the bright side, at least Spears’ hoards of fans will share this clip on forums in the coming weeks while they bash Scherzinger. All publicity is good publicity, I guess.

   Trent, Malicious?? Seriously? Stop It. She did her impersonation of Brit-Brit and thats it. Is it malicious to dress up as a school girl with ponytails and walk down a school hallway sexually? Isn’t that also imitating Britney? Plenty of people have done it. She actually sounds just like her. I hate when people try to blow something up.

    That was a very good impression. Wow

    As for her personality I am quite surprised by what I saw/heard…she always came across as an ice queen to me but I have to say that she came across very well in this interview (in my eyes at least). I may actually grow to like Ms. Scheahkerhdjkwehfkh (whatever her surname is)
