New Song: Mario – ‘The Walls (Ft. Fabolous)’
Mario fans got a taste of his new sound last month when a song entitled ‘Chipped Away’ had surfaced but now the singer has released something official. Featuring production by Rico Love and a verse by Fabolous, ‘The Walls’ is the first single from his upcoming studio album, which has yet to be given a title.

This record has all the characteristics of an Urban hit, which is not at all surprising as it follows a similar formula of Kelly Rowland’s radio-friendly mid-tempo ’Motivation (Ft. Lil Wayne)’ (also crafted by Rico Love). Hopefully, however, Mario doesn’t put forward an entire album of sexual songs. With vocal talent like his it would be a shame if he doesn’t push himself beyond the limits of his far less gifted peers.

It’s a great way for Mario to make a return. Even thou it’s about sex, he doesn’t overdo it with the sexual references like his lesser peers Chris Brown and Trey Songz.
