Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Discuss Pregnancy Woes On ’20/20′

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon sat down with Barbra Walters to debut their twins earlier this evening. However, before they introduced Moroccan and Monroe to the world, the duo participated in a telling interview about the problems they faced while getting pregnant.

Carey revealed that in addition to a miscarriage in 2008 that thrusted her into a deep depression, she had to endure rigorous hormonal therapy in an effort to conceive. Furthermore, after the diva finally got pregnant, she developed gestational diabetes and was forced to deliver the babies early when she was only 35 weeks along.

   no matter what your age twins/multiples are always a high risk pregnancy never mind the complications Mariah had and persevered through even though because of them she delivered Roc n Roe 5 weeks early to save all three of their lives. thankfully everyone involved is healthy now and the twins are thriving
