The list of performers for the 2011 American Music Awards has just received a much needed boost of excitement as Chris Brown has been named as one of the ceremony’s featured entertainers. Set to air live on November 20th at 8pm ET on ABC, the event will also include a showing from LMFAO.
Brown has been nominated for two trophies for the 2011 AMA – Favourite Soul Rhythm & Blues Album for ‘F.A.M.E.’ and Favourite Male Soul Rhythm & Blues Artist. He has joined the ranks of Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, David Guetta and Pitbull as this year’s headlining acts. Furthermore, Mary J. Blige was listed to perform at the show last week.
Interestingly, Latin crooner Marc Anthony has been named as one of the performers at the 2011 AMA. Meanwhile, his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, is also scheduled to hit the stage at the ceremony that evening.
