Adele has already broken several records with ’21′ but now she has matched a feat set by one of music’s most renowned divas. The LP has spent more weeks in the top 5 of the Billboard 200 than any album since Whitney Houston’s ‘The Bodyguard’.
Adele may not be a size 0 but she certainly has stamina. Just days after returning to the top of the United World Chart, the singer’s ’21′ album has notched its 34th week in the top 5 of the UK Albums Chart.
Adele never truly lost her grip of the United World Chart’s top spot; she simply took a break. The British Soul singer’s ’21′ album has returned to the chart summit for a 22nd week and quickly ended the reign of Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter IV’.
