Melanie Amaro received mixed reviews for her debut single, ‘Don’t Fail Me Now’, so she has followed the record with ‘Love Me Now’, which ventures in a different direction. Yet, what do both tracks have in common? Amaro’s powerhouse vocals and a sense of urgency.
“Love me now” is what Amaro belts over the Mariah Carey/Jermaine Dupri-styled production of ‘Love Me Now’. Clearly, she wants you to pay attention her music so you better tune in or else she might break into her West Indian accent and curse you out.

Amaro’s vocal on ‘Love Me Now’ is fantastic and the simplicity of the production would actually help it to work across multiple formats, including Urban radio. However, that simplicity also makes the song a bit boring so releasing it as a single could be risky. Perhaps the radio version will have a faster tempo to help it gain momentum. If not, it will be a very nice album cut or a B-side.
